Don Turner, President of the Nevada Firearms Coalition PAC: Our battle to keep firearms where they belong, in the hands of red-blooded Americans, is a constant fight. Just recently Gerald Tanso, resident of Oldsmar Florida and owner of Lock N Load has felt the pressure of the liberal fear mongering when a national gun control group once again, blamed the mental weakness of an individual purchaser of a weapon from Tanso’s shop on Tanso himself. It was this pressure and legal action taken against him that led to the eventual selling of his shop, his hard fought life’s work, and his vow to never engage in the firearms business again. As if that wasn’t disgusting enough, the lying liberal mouth pieces forced Tanso to make a public statement about gun control to other shop owners, urging them to adopt stringent background checks and tighter security measures. This must stop. With every passing day, the left wing subterfuge grows deeper, as they constantly find new ways to halt our progress at each and every turn. We must fight back. We must not let what happened to Gerald Tanso happen to other hardworking, honest gun store owners and firearms advocates. Former Chairman Robert Graham was fighting to maintain power for the Party’s McCain-centrist establishment. The recall Lines movement has pointed out Lines violations of the Arizona Revised Statutes and the Bylaws of the Arizona Republican Party. Lines ignored the will of AZGOP State and Precinct Committeemen by promising to not hire Matthew Kenney and then caved to donor’s pressure and then turned around and hired Kenney anyway.. AZGOP Chairman Jonathan Lines says the AZGOP trained over 100 volunteers at headquarters Monday in preparation for voter registration activities at the Trump Rally on Tuesday. They signed up more than 2,800 new volunteers at Tuesday’s Trump Rally; and handed out 7,500 bottles of water to attendees waiting in line in the Arizona heat.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department is seeking volunteers to assist with fall spotlighting efforts to help document the population of endangered black-footed ferrets in Aubrey Valley and on the Double O Ranch, both near Seligman. As part of the recovery effort, the department has scheduled two five-night spotlighting events – Sept. 7-11 and Oct. 5-9 – and a three-night spotlighting event Nov. 9-11. The spotlighting method involves using high-powered lights to locate and identify black-footed ferrets. Their eyeshine is reflected by the spotlight and helps surveyors with identifying and locating these elusive, nocturnal carnivores. Volunteers must have the ability to stay attentive from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. while spotlighting for black-footed ferrets and use, or learn how to use, a Global Positioning System (GPS). Volunteers can sign up by e-mailing azferret@azgfd.gov -- with “fall spotlighting” in the subject line – by Sept. 1 for next month’s project, Sept. 30 for the October event, and Nov. 3 for the November event.
