Mitch McConnell announced yesterday that the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act has the full backing of the Senate and expects it will have a vote. Rep. Trent Franks, co-chair of the Pro-Life Caucus in the House, introduced the House version of the bill, H.R. 36, that received bipartisan support as it passed with overwhelming majority in the House on October 3rd. Sen John McCain was awarded the National Constitution Center’s Liberty Medal last night in Philadelphia. Vice President Joe Biden, Chairman of the National Constitution Center’s Board of Trustees, presented the 2017 Liberty Medal to McCain for his lifetime of sacrifice and service to the nation.
