The Arizona Game and Fish Department will host a series of public meetings and a webinar over the next several weeks to review changes that have occurred in the three years since legislation was passed that allowed the department to simplify its hunting and fishing license structure. The meetings will also discuss successes resulting from this license simplification and give the public an opportunity to provide feedback. The first meeting will be held between 5-7 pm., Mon., Nov 20 at the Payson Public Library, 328 N. McLane Road in Payson. See future postings at www.azgfd.gov

PC Connie Uribe to PC Art Olivas: Yes, Art, I get frustrated, too. I live in Yuma – Jonathan Lines County. I’ve fought the GOPe for years, watching Lines and now Russ Jones stand around patting themselves on the back, continually avoiding the critical issues because that might lead to debate and violate their “safe space.” But, let me tell you one thing. The grassroots conservatives are out there and they are working effectively. How do we know this? Despite the chicanery within our party, Donald Trump is in the White House!

Did he and McTraitor go to Washington to work for the people of this Country (sure as heck are not helping AZ) or to spew their hatred of my President Trump? They seem to only think of themselves. McTraitor is still fuming that he never got to be President (big sigh of relief) so he is letting all the people who voted for him (not I) down because of his ego. People, wise up and smell the BS that these two espouse! Let’s start calling all of Congress to ask for their resignations. It is time to go home McTraitor and Flake the toothy guy. Can we get someone who will work for us (AZ citizens) instead of just promising to do so and then doing what these two have been doing and yet keep getting re-elected. ENOUGH! Activist Joe Hobbs: ALERT - the GOP controlled FCC will vote Dec 14 to roll back the pitiful remnants of the misnomer “Network Neutrality.” Net Neutrality is not neutral! It is the Obama era democrat controlled FCC attempted hijacking of our Internet, seeking to turn it over to UN control! And try to regulate everything about the Internet! And impose fees on the Internet to pay for their regulatory activities! Much of the Internet is owned by Japan, France, India, Germany and not under the jurisdiction of the pitiful democrat “rules.” In the words of FCC Chairman Agit Pai, “The Internet is not broken. There is no problem for the government to solve.” And in the words of Joseph Hobbs, “the Internet is currently being perfectly ‘managed’ by Internet based technical resources – not regulated by technology disabled FCC bureaucrats.” Find helpful, understandable information about how close the democrats came to destroying the greatest economic wonder the world has ever seen and pushing our Internet back to the dark ages of regulation. If You Want To Understand The Threats To Our Internet Freedoms, Read This Book By Daniel J Schultzon September 21, 2017. Full disclosure: The author, Joe Hobbs, is a friend of mine. We have served together as elected members of the Maricopa County (Arizona) Republican Committee since around 2010 and Joe has an impressive political and business career, having served in the Arizona legislature. I respect him greatly. That being said, my review of this book is not in any way influenced by my friendship with him or our political experiences. Joe knows this subject cold, as his bio and what he has written in this book attests. I know much of what he writes about, but probably at a ten per cent level, if that. So, I found that the best way for a “lay person” to “get a handle” on the subject matter of this book is to read, first, Chapters One, Two, Seven, Eight, and Nine. After that, then read Chapters Three, Four, Five, and Six. That is what I did, and it helped me to understand the main points of the book thereafter followed up with the underlying history, which I believe the reader will find to be fascinating. I highly recommend this book to anyone trying to understand what “net neutrality” really means. Thank you.

The Fountain Hills Republican Club (FHRC) will have an entry in the Fountain Hills Thanksgiving Day “Winter in the Southwest” Parade. The parade starts at 9 a.m. at the corner of El Lago and Saguaro and proceeds north on Saguaro then west on Palisades then east on La Montana. Last year the FHRC won best motorized entry with "Mr. Trump goes to Washington" to correspond to last year's Hollywood/movie theme. Do not leave food unattended while it cooks
Keep children out of reach of hot surfaces and cooking foods that could burn them
Keep knives, matches, and lighters away from kids, preferrably high up in a locked cabinet
Never use water to put out a grease fire
Keep a fire extinguisher close by in case of emergency
Be sure to double check that your smoke detectors have fresh batteries and are fully functional
Make sure that the oven, stove, and other appliances are turned off before going to bed.
