Their fervor is evident at the Arizona Capitol where last week Democrat Rep Randy Friese requested that the House suspend its rules and allow his legislation banning bump stocks, which failed to meet the committee hearing deadline, to be resurrected and voted on by the entire House. This set off several hours of histrionics and theatrics by Democrats about how it was necessary to take your rights away. Though Dr. Friese' proposal was eventually rejected, the fact that it was even proposed, and several hours were spent debating your rights, is very disturbing. You legislators need to hear from you letting them know you are paying attention and expect them to support your rights. Send your email today! We as a nation have gotten away from the rule of law gradually for political purposes, nowhere is that more evident than with DACA and Refugee Resettlement. Clearly the political purpose in these two programs are not in the best interest of America. We strongly suspect that this politically correct policing is prevalent nationwide all the way up the law enforcement ladder to include the FBI and no one group of people are more responsible than the lap dog press because all of the indicators were there and continue to be obvious. Irene Littleton, Chair, Arizona Voter Registration Drive: I would like to thank all the folks that have been working hard on voter registration in their area. Always remember, you can't GOTV without registered voters. You can pick out Party Not Designated (PND) and Independent voters in your area to identify for voter registration from your registered voters disc from your Recorder's office. Remember, some folks don't even know they are PNDS. We need to attend local events with a voter registration table. Do you have local fairs or such events? Be there ready to register voters. Some folks have recently moved to the area and have not registered, or want to change information. Check with your local schools. Some schools will allow you to speak in Civics classes. Just make sure you get the rules. You will never know until you ask! What else can you do? Use your imagination! Voter registration is not a one-time shot, we need to be diligent and search out folks to register. This is truly the most important midterm elections we have had for a long while. We cannot let the Dems take any of our seats. Voter registration is the most important part of the plan. In the process of voter registration, you should be working with your RLI representative to insure that the updated information gets into the system. There have been a few counties that have greatly increased their voter registration, be one of the winners, pitch in and register Republican voters!
