Tom Morrissey Past Chairman AZ GOP: Just in case you don't know - there is tremendous turmoil within our AZ GOP and since this party belongs to ALL of us we have the right to be part of solving the problem and bringing this party back to a place of integrity and effectiveness. I, for one, am not convinced that all the facts are on the table. Going back to the Statutory Meeting last January and the election, we have had unrest and many questions that arose during and since that meeting. Many questions have been left unanswered and promises made, have not been kept. The appointment of the Executive Director is paramount among them. Conducting the election using smart phones was very problematic and has had repercussions pertaining to its accuracy. Having no paper trail has left many questions about it, unanswered. Unhappiness with leadership's failure to address these questions and complaints has been the genesis of the Recall movement being led by Marianne Ferrari. She is of course, now being attacked by the very honorable folks who support and continuously prop up that "noble" part of our party known as the Ruling Class Establishment Elite. Until the rise of Donald Trump they have had their way with the direction of OUR party. They should be advised that their attacks on this woman will not hold water with those of us who know and support her. Ferrariis a true conservative patriot who is standing up against what she and many more of us are troubled by. She dares to challenge the powers that be and the result of that are the attacks being launched against her. I know her to be a principled person who has been standing with those of us in the grassroots who do the work of the party every election cycle and especially during the last one that elected our Non - Establishment President Donald J Trump!

Activist Lynn Breyer Responds To LD20 State Committeeman Marcus Kelley: It is said that if you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything. That was my first thought when reading Marcus Kelley's response to the kerfuffle over Shane Wikfors and the posts he allows on his website, Sonoran Alliance, which has become tabloid trash. There was a time when Wikfors, whose SA domain name is in the name of Dennis Wikfors, which is Shane by any other name, was a moderate conservative. By that, I mean he was known to waffle and be for sale but sometimes, he came down on the right side. That person has disappeared. It is irrelevant what he has done in the past. In politics, it's "what have you done for me lately." Shane owns Sonoran Alliance and to nearly quote President Truman, the buck stops there. He has gone to the dark side and the proof is that he has given unfettered access to all manner of miscreants. Anyone who would post totally false accusations and engage in destruction politics are miscreants at best. Miscreant: noun - a vicious or depraved person; villain. Making excuses for him and those like him, as Marcus Kelley did in Briefs, is inconceivable to rational patriots. It's like saying "the dog ate my homework." No amount of excuses or justifications are sufficient to excuse such despicable behavior. It's Shane's website. What goes on there is Shane's responsibility. When he allows all manner of creeps access to write what they want, the facts be-damned, he underwrites every word. He alone has the power to change the password and keep these lying sacks of garbage off the site, denying them a tabloid-type post. If they cry and whimper about being denied access, well, cry me a river. Where is Superman when you need him: "Truth, justice and the American way" means an incorruptible set of values that we should all strive to have. They are sorely missing with Wikfors and his merry band of liars and con-artists. Here's an idea: win honestly, lose gracefully. It's time for decency and respectability to come back in vogue.
Activist Mark Lewis To Congressional Energy Legislators: The US IRS gave foreign wind power firms $28 billion in ITC tax credits in the past 10 years. $19 billion more tax credits are going out the door in the next 30 months. The US DOE issued this report 2016_Wind_Technologies_Market_Report showing how this massive fraud upon hard working energy people is damaging American interests. We need to cancel these wind tax credits for projects that have not started 30% construction to pay for the middle income tax credit. The fact House Republicans supported this ITC renewal in 2015 is shameful. The miners and the oil rig workers know this is happening, and they’re pissed.
Former AZ Senate Russell Pearce: My response to josselyn-berry-a-progressive-messenger-from-a-conservative-republican-household Josselyn thinks she can come in and change the fundamental values of the GOP? She thinks being pro-family, pro-law, pro-baby, pro-taxpayer, pro-freedom is extremism? ISIS would proud of Berry, a fan of Planned Parenthood abortion providers, dissecting babies and selling the parts. A thousand woman die each year vs millions of babies killed each year by folks like Planned Parenthood. The term “progressive” ought to raise eyebrows immediately. I love it when they try to make “babies” just a woman’s reproductive issue. THEY ARE BABIES, not a procedure, not a medical choice; we have a Constitutional and moral obligation to protect them from Berry and Planned Parenthood. Even if it is a little inconvenient for some who think killing babies is an option for them. Then while at it, why not dissect the body and sell a few parts is an added bonus to those like Josselyn. Maybe she should read the by-laws of the GOP. Apparently the GOP are extremist as we make it very clear we stand for the protection of the un-born the most innocent lives amongst us. We stand for Life, Liberty and Property as our Founders put forward in that inspired document called the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Josselyn appears to be in the wrong party based on her own ludicrous and progressive views. However, I do understand her struggles with the anti-bias issue as she is very clear about her views opposing innocent life, traditional values and our God given freedoms. Then to further exhibit her ignorance, Josselyn makes incorrect statements about ALEC, an organization where “conservative” legislators get together to work on Jeffersonian ideas of liberty, state’s rights, limited government and advocate for Constitutional adherence. ALEC does not write legislation, they adopt good legislation that has been written and adopted in states and present it as model legislation for other states to have access to it. By the Way no tax dollars are spent to send them to ALEC. One has to go to college to get this un-educated. Berry is the executive director of ProgressNow Arizona.

Drivers Who Normally Would Enter Or Exit State Route 51 (Piestewa Freeway) at Bell Road in north Phoenix should plan on using another nearby interchange this weekend. The SR 51 on- and off-ramps at Bell Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 13) while the Arizona Department of Transportation replaces the worn pavement on the ramps.The right lanes along Bell Road at SR 51 also will be closed in both directions.
