AzFRW President Loraine Bennett Pellegrino: The Arizona chapter of Americans for Prosperity urges the citizens of Arizona to vote NO on the state’s income tax hike proposal, the so-called “Invest in Education” proposal. This proposition would turn Arizona into a high-tax state, hurt our state’s small business owners, and put teacher pay in jeopardy. It would be the largest permanent tax increase in Arizona history, making Arizona’s top income tax rate the fifth-highest in the country and the highest in the Southwest region. Tiffany has a clear understanding of not only rural issues which concern citizens of CD-1, she has strong conservative back bone to support President Trumps Agenda.
Bruce Piepho:I suspended the Appeal to Heaven during this political season of mid-term elections. My messages were leaning more and more towards political commentary. Then I stumbled onto the Capital Ministries. Now approaching the primary vote we need more then at any time to focus on God and prayer for America. Just days after a story about Ralph Drollinger and Capitol Ministries was published by BBC News, a division of British Broadcasting Corporation, and distributed across the globe, it had reached more than 1 million readers world-wide. For the first time in at least 100 years, the U.S. President's Cabinet has a Bible study group. What do they learn? What does Donald Trump make of it? Every Wednesday, some of the world's most powerful people meet in a conference room in Washington DC to learn about God..
Activist Art Olivas:Why people don’t pay attention until we're up to our necks in Do Do - is beyond me. We keep reelecting self serving Rino Politicians year after year. You keep supporting the lobbyist and endorsers and know it all’s like Samuel Adamsazstatesmen@gmail.com from American Post-Gazette who hides behind this rag and don't have the cojones to say who they really are! Why do they want us to vote for Kelly Ward who hasn't one tenth of the knowledge that Sheriff Joe has in border problems and in illegal immigration. The only knowledge and information Kelly Ward has is what the cutout picture of president Trump feeds her.
Keep this RINO in mind. Receptions In Support Of The Arizona Republican Party, featuring Gov Doug Ducey and AZGOP Chairman Robert Graham, are scheduled between 4:30-6 pm., Sat., Oct 17 at the home of Julia and Barry Smith, 9625 N 55th St., Paradise Valley, AZ and at 7 pm, Tues, Oct 20 at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, DC. My wife and I have helped David Schweikert with money and worked in his campaign for office. Last week when I ask him for help on the issue of ID cards for illegals. He ignored me. When I asked him about his voting for Boehner again he said nothing - just kept asking for more Money. In my eyes his only interest is in getting re-elected. Are we better off now then before he got in office? Why he will not help us stop illegals from being a parasite on Arizona! David Schweikert will beg for our money and support. But I believe he will never lift a finger to help us!! He gives out coffee that he buys with your contributions to buy your vote. To get rid of illegal immigrants, we need to get rid of the incumbents that support them. Like Schweikert, Martha McSally has done nothing for us.
Dale Gohr Of Clarkdale: What does Discrimination really mean? Synonyms: Judgment, discernment, bias and bigotry; however, to clarify what I talk about here we need to narrow the general meaning to more specific usage of the term. I reiterate something I said in a meeting about 22 years ago: “Discrimination has nothing to do with race. Discrimination has to do with differences and ‘Race’ just happens to be an obvious difference”. If what I just stated were not true you could not/would not have the discrimination between the English and the Irish, between African Tribes or between the Apache and Navajo. However, today we are looking at a concept that has become blatantly obvious; still I do not believe most people recognize it as discrimination yet.
We and our Law Enforcement Agencies have graduated to accepting grossly illegal activities as being a mythical right to protest. No one gave anyone the right to protest. The First Amendment gives us the right to peaceably assemble and to petition the government for a redress of our grievances. Impeding traffic, physical or verbal assaults and all property damage (public or private) are all crimes, which unfortunately, are being ignored as our representative republic is being trashed with the blessing of left-wing politics, politicians, news media, entertainment and social media moguls.
People are being physically attacked and beaten for wearing any Trump slogan apparel, being harassed in public for being affiliated with the Republican Party. Before you say it happens on the other side too; stop and try to think of a similar though reversed situation. The Facebook CEO trying to denounce any commentary that he does not agree with when he plainly embraced the highly edited and programed [Edited to make the islamists look strong and the victims look weak] islamic beheadings of christians and jews… and cuts off the comments of my wife as too controversial when she mentions anything adverse about Islamic teaching or about Democrat/Socialist prejudice or factual errors.
And accusing President Trump’s policies for mistreating the children of illegals by the leftists by using pictures taken in 2014 (over a year before Trump became President) in order to find something grotesque enough to garner the sympathetic outrage desired to blame Trump. When confronted about the pictures the leftists claim ‘It don’t matter, when they were taken. Hypocrisy on Steroids!!!
Olga Tarro, State Board of Education's Arizona Standards Development Committee member: I’m a Mom of three who’s been engaged diligently in the political realm since Common Core came home in my kids' backpacks... not just for my children, but for all children in Arizona.I choose to support Frank Riggs for Superintendent of Public Instruction (SPI) because he’s the most qualified to lead Arizona away from the status quo we’ve been mired in for too long. Frank understands the education issues at the local classroom level, the district level, the state level and the federal level. Working to fix a problem first requires knowing how all the pieces fit together and where the pieces are broken. Moms like me all over the state asked Frank to consider running for SPI. He’s been shoulder-to-shoulder with us as we worked on committees and on legislation to chip away Common Core and more. Moms like me have had hundreds of conversations, emails, and face to face meetings with parents, teachers, students, and leaders at all levels about what needs to be done for Arizona students. Frank is the only one who understands and has a viable plan. Moms like me, who became known as the grassroots group "Mommy Lobby AZ," have spent many hours attending meetings and forums throughout the state to speak with and question all of the SPI candidates. We know the issues and don’t settle for platitudes. We know Arizona is losing a generation of students and we can’t sit back and watch it happen. It takes courage, conviction and vision to change things.

CANDIDATE COMMENTARY

CD8 House candidate Dr. Sandra E. Dowling: Questions being asked throughout Congressional District 8 by voter’s center on whether Social Security and Medicare are entitlements or earnedbenefits. US House Speaker Paul Ryan has stated on numerous occasions that Social Security and Medicare are entitlements. Candidates in the Congressional District 8 special election frequently referred to Social Security and Medicare as entitlements. They were wrong! Ryan’s plan is to wait until after the mid-term elections to bring this issue before Congress for a vote. Specifically, his plan will transfer $338 billion from the Social Security Trust Fund into the general fund in an attempt to balance the trillion-dollar federal deficit. If this plan is successful there could be a reduction in the amount current retirees receive in their monthly Social Security checks. Donald Trump declared: “It’s not unreasonable for people who paid into a system for decades to expect to get their money’s worth – that’s not an ‘entitlement,’ that’s honoring a deal.” I agree whole-heartedly with President Trump. We need a representative in Congressional District 8 who will support the President’s message that Social Security and Medicare are earned benefits. Either the President’s message is wrong, which I don’t believe, or we need a new messenger in Congress. We need to start today to focus not only on Social Security but on Medicare’s high cost of prescription drugs. Seniors are being taken advantage of and it must stop. A vote for Dr. Sandra Dowling as your next Congressman will guarantee a voice in Congress that will protect you.
Gubernatoral candidate Ken Bennett: I am asking for your support in the Republican primary for Governor. Governor Ducey has broken his campaign promises and has failed to secure our border and fix education funding. Ducey is a 'Never-Trumper' who will never support President Trump's MAGA goals. Ducey promised to secure the border but it is a bigger mess than it was four years ago. Illegal activity streams across Arizona and the National Guard he put on the border has been called a 'colossal waste' of your taxpayer money by the Border Patrol Association. Follow the money and you find that Ducey donors are giving hundreds of millions to elect those who support DACA amnesty for 1.3 million and Never-Trumpers. My running in a Clean Elections campaign means I answer to you. I am asking you to give me four years and send backup to President Trump. If you support me here is what you can do: Donate $5.Click here if you are able to give an additional donation, you can give up to $160 more. We can beat Doug Ducey and send support to President Trump, if we come together and make this happen! Please act now!

Congressman Paul Gosar: You may have seen a silly article in the Democrat party propaganda entity called the Arizona Republic about my desire to talk to Governor Ducey last December about the impending senate vacancy. Quick, stop the presses, a sitting Congressman wants to talk to the Governor. Quite a story.
As all of you know, Sen. McCain, who has had an amazing and long tenure in Congress, but over a year ago he was diagnosed with fatal brain cancer. He has not voted or been representing Arizona in Congress since last December, which most people are ok with, even if it hurts the state.I wanted to talk with Gov. Ducey about the selection process for when, not if, the senator passes.
The Senator himself has been publicly making funeral plans. Dying is a part of life, and I respect this and embrace it as we all must. My point today is the same thing I would have told the Governor had he decided to meet with me (he didn't): the people of Arizona are not being represented, and responsible adults need to plan for the future. Just as parents and grand parents create wills and trusts, and just as the Constitution provides for a line of succession in the event the President dies in office, adults plan for transitions. It's what mature people do.
Anyone who says such planning is "disgraceful" is either foolish, naïve or hiding an agenda. I want transparency in the process. I want a public discussion. It has been all back-room talk so far, and that hurts everyone except special interests and sycophants. The true disgrace is trying to shame people for wanting to plan for the future and refusing to meet with the people's elected representatives. I am Paul Gosar, I will stand for the truth every time. – Gosar Team
