Currently there is no specific bankruptcy exemption for your personal firearms. Activist Archie Dicksion:There is some indication that Governor Ducey is going to ask the legislature to introduce legislation to enact his program to provide school protection in the after many of the Florida school shooting. The idea being that they will draft the legislation, introduce it at this session and pass it into law. It is too late for legislation to be introduced in regular course. We must insist that our legislators adhere to the rules that govern introduction and discussion of legislation. This will prevent "Knee Jerk reactions in enacting our laws. The Vote San Tan Valley Steering Committee submitted more than 5000 signatures from San Tan Valley citizens yesterday asking the Pinal County Board of Supervisors to call an election on whether over 100,000 people may form their own local government that reflects its citizens and objective, according to the committee. Their press release reads, “Although there have been challenges in this effort, the current Steering Committee members and volunteers encountered tremendous support throughout the San Tan Valley area when they were out collecting signatures on the petitions. The process has been an all-out effort to enfranchise the largest population in an unincorporated county area in Arizona with the right to vote on their form of local government. This effort will not be overcome even by the self-interested misinterpretation of the state laws by out of county developers who insist that the incorporation must have their consent. Moreover, State Representative Kelly Townsend who last year worked to get passage of the exception allowing San Tan Valley citizens choose their government formation, disagrees with the developers’ interpretation that their consent is needed for San Tan Valley and is working to clarify that with a new bill running through committees at the State Legislature. As the Steering committee and all the volunteers and citizens who want this incorporation awaits the petition validation by the Pinal County Election Department, they are waiting for the Pinal County Board of Supervisors to set the question on the ballot for an already planned election date of August 28, 2018. The Steering Committee and volunteers are encouraging all civic minded residents to get involved. Become part of the solution and help mold this into a community for everyone that lives within the mapped area and, hopefully, the newly incorporated municipality. Lynne Breyer, AZRA Executive Vice President: After 60 days during which the majority of the Board of Directors stepped in to put AZRA back on track after a coup attempt by some rogue AZRA members, the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA), in accordance with the AZRA Bylaws, appointed Irving Scott of the West Pinal County Chapter and a current member of the NFRA Board, as President of AZRA until a new Executive Committee can be elected at the Annual Convention in Scottsdale on May 5, 2018. Scott immediately appointed Lynne Breyer as Executive Vice President to continue the work to restore AZRA to its mission. Ardith Hildebrant was retained as Treasurer through a vote of the BoD on February 1, 2018. However, the rogue actors did not want to accept that outcome, and Cid DeLa Fuente, Jim Dutton and Walt Steiner resigned from AZRA and/or the Executive Committee immediately after the results of the vote retaining Hildebrant was announced. They then pretended to still be office holders, but resignations are irrevocable. Since February 1, they have continued collecting dues but never turned them in to the treasurer for processing, causing some members to believe their dues are paid when they are not. Members of the Mohave, Yavapai County, SE Valley, East Mesa and West Valley Chapters who paid their dues after December 22, 2017 should retrieve their payments from their former chapter leadership and send them directly to AZRA, P.O. Box 44534, Phoenix, AZ 85064. Every organization has its growing pains. What happened in AZRA is rare in the Republican Assemblies. AZRA has an excellent BoD devoted to growing AZRA to its full potential and realizing the future that members saw when they joined. LD20 PC Wes Harris To County Attorney And Board Of Superviors: Gentleman, for three years now I have spoken and written to each of you regarding what I personally felt was a gross miscarriage of justice on the part of the County of Maricopa not standing behind their employees in the case of Lisa Aubuchon and Rachael Alexander. Prior to all that went down, well before any of you took office, I received a verbal promise from the then County Chairman that under no circumstances would he allow the County to settle out of court regarding the claims from then Supervisors Mary Rose Wilcox and Don Stapley. Well, we all know where that promise went and the citizens of Maricopa County never got their day in court and these two walked away with millions of our tax payer dollars for their trouble. We also know that the two County Attorneys noted above have been dragged through the mud and virtually bankrupted as a reward for doing what they were charged to do and have become the scape goats on this entire sad case. As I noted, I contacted each of you numerous times and, frankly, only two of you responded in any way and those responses were to basically wash your hands of the problem. I asked each of you to just sit down and talk one on one with Rachel and Lisa and none of you would agree to even do that. Since none of you, including our current County Attorney

Bill Montgomery whom I count as a personal friend, were there at the time, I again ask: Isn't it time that we end this and give these two competent attorneys their lives back? Surely there is enough evidence that this has been a gross miscarriage and each of you can finally do what I strongly believe is the right thing to do...if nothing more than to stop the hemorrhage of our tax payer dollars. Won't you please at least sit down with them and hear them out? I don't understand why that seems too much to ask.

U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Kelli Ward said Wednesday that she supports President Trump's idea to have the military secure the U.S.-Mexico border until his wall is built, saying it's a "great option" for now. Ward said she believes the National Guard is "very well-prepared for this mission" and have been "doing it in other countries for decades." The potential move appears to be motivated by a caravan of migrants making their way from Honduras to the U.S. border. "Until we can have a wall with proper security, we are going to be guarding our border with our military. That's a big step," Trump said at the White House Tuesday. Ward, running for the Senate seat being vacated by Republican Jeff Flake, recently visited an Arizona cattle rancher who showed her just how unprotected the border is in some areas of Arizona. "We're supposed to believe that the four flimsy strands of barbed wire, that are down there between Mexico and the United States, are supposed to protect our border from the traffickers," she said, adding that 25 miles of the ranch is up against Mexico.
