NOTES FROM READERS
Opinions expressed by readers are not necessarily those of the Briefs. Commentary running over 400 words is subject to editing
Russell Sias, La Paz County Chair responds to Brian Reilly, Former LD22 PC, 4 Mar, and in regard to his comments about Sheriff Joe's Birth Certificate (BC) investigation. While I do believe as Brian does, that Joe is, whether knowlingly or not, acting as a divider in the race in which he has chosen to run. Like Brian, I also have encouraged Joe to drop out and support Ward.
However, in regard to Joe's findings regarding Obama's BC, it is VERY clear that it is manufactured. With simple editing tools available to anyone, the BC is not an original, and it can be easily determined to be an edited and modified pic from an original, with such simple tools as copy/paste routines, available in most document editors. I retired from a job in our software industry. It took me, about 2 minutes to determine that the birth certificate being offered was an edited copy of an original document. Anyone with photo shop editing tools can determine the very same thing -- in the same 2 minutes. Joe is NOT wrong about the Birth Certifcate being a fake. It is, period. Editor’s Note: Yesterday, strong supporters of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, (who request anonymity for various reasons) expressed deep annoyance at Reilly’s constant criticism of Arpaio. - ft
Connie Uribe, Yuma County PC: A quick note to Brian Reilly about the notorious Obama birth certificate: When that document was first made public, it took me about 10 seconds to figure out it was a forgery. Birth certificates issued in Hawaii in 1961 looked a lot like mine -- black with white ink. That paper with the watermarking is a later invention. Listing Obama's father's race as "African" was also a red light. People were referred to as "Negro" or "Colored" in 1961, not "African." That's a nationality, not a race. The thing that also caught my attention was why the infant was named Barack Hussein Obama II when his father was Barack Hussein Obama. He should have been "Jr." He would only be "II" if he were named for someone other than his father. I don't question his being born in Hawaii, but there's something on the former president's original birth certificate he doesn't want the world to see. This isn't rocket science, but there is at play here the time-honored shell game of hammering "authentications,""verifications," and any other kind of "cations" you can come up with to distract the public from the truth. If people listen to a lie long enough, they'll believe it. That's what keeps our fake news media alive.
Activist Marsha Hill: The persons who write about a politician or governmental official and state they are "personal friends" or "long-time friends" and continuously back them in all they do is "favortism". Instead of backing them when they are on the wrong path or have spiraled down over the years (probably because they've been in office way too long), why not help them to get back on the right path. That's what a real or long time personal friend would do. A real friend would not want their "friends" to continue heading down the wrong path. I love loyalty, but to truth, honesty and doing the right things. How about loyalty to the oath taken to the Constitution upon entering office? Is that being upheld or is it just lip service. If the writers can't do this, then they are merely acquaintances like the rest of us. By doing nothing to help your "friend" correct the errors of their thinking and ways, you are part of the problem and are sending swampy people to the big swamp on Capitol Hill.
Zack Taylor, National Association of Border Patrol Officers Chairmanwww.NAFBPO.org: We know common sense is a rare commodity in Washington DC. There is a problem that needs to be accurately identified. Canada, USA and Mexico comprise North America. (Mexico is NOT in Central America as some believe.) Canada, USA and Mexico are the partners in NAFTA, and by definition comprise the North American Free Trade Agreement. If we are partners in trade we could also be partners in ensuring the viability of commerce within and between the three members and therefore the security of each. If we are not equal in commitment to each other a divorce of sorts may be necessary if the differences are not reconciled.
It is far easier to control Mexico's Southern Border with Central America than America's border with Mexico. Perhaps the reason Mexico is not concerned with the invasion of their southern border is because they have established that the invaders are in fact destined for the United States, not Mexico. Assymetrical Warfare is being waged against the United States through invasion by immigration weaknesses identified in America's defenses the existence of which has been known for decades. In other words, war is being waged on the United States by immigration means and nobody is yet willing to call it what it is. It seems there are several options that could work, but, the United States needs to first understand, accept and IDENTIFY the fact that illegal immigration and border insecurity is being used to defeat America through unconventional means of war and that the enemy lives among us.
War is War, there is no way to justify not calling it what it is unless one is a proponent of America's demise and a champion of her downfall. If war is being waged against the United States, declared or undeclared, what should prevent the United States Military from fighting against the attack where the attack is occurring? Or, are you telling me that if China attacked our West Coast that the U.S. Military could not repel the invaders on the California Coast just because the battle formed on U.S. soil? We sent troops to Grenada, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc, with less justification, why not ours or Mexico's southern border if that is where the actual invasion is taking place? Something is very wrong here in the United States and nowhere is the problem more evident than America's illogical response to border insecurity.
Irene Littleton- Voter Registration Drive Chair: Thank you LD30 PC Timothy Schwartz. Voter registration is twice as important today. We know the Dems are out there in incredible numbers. We currently have more registered Republicans voters than the Dems, however the Independents are higher the either party. We need to identify the PNDs (party not designated) and Independents as well as newcomers to our State. If you would like a list of the PNDs and Inds in your specific area let me know and I will get it to you! Attend events, t’is the season, get together, walk your precinct and then help others in their precinct. Let's work together to make this happen! We need 50K more registrations prior to the Primary and another 20K before the General. Our candidates need our assistance. All of the State and Federal offices in Arizona need our assistance. Don't forget your local elections, keep our State Senate and House RED! If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know. Shout out your accomplishments in Briefs. How many new Republican voters did you register? Thank You
Activist Nancy Plencner: This was read at a presentation I attended recently; the author is unknown. But thought it might be something for the Briefs.
Why Socialism Always Fails (Author Unknown)
· You cannot legislate the poor INTO prosperity by legislating the rich OUT of prosperity.
· What one person receives without earning, another person must work for without receiving.
· The government cannot give anybody, anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
· You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!
· When half of the people think they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half thinks it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for...That is the beginning of the end of a nation.
Activist Teresa Mendoza: Did anyone else watch Martha McSally on Lou Dobbs Tuesday night? I was pleasantly surprised to see Mr. Dobbs hold McSally to the fire. He could not get any answers straight answers from her, nor honest ones! As a new Republican I find it hard to understand how we can continue to support another RINO medical wonder (one head and two faces) like Flake & McCain with McSally. It gives me hope that the little highlight video I made of her Dobbs appearance has been viewed over 10K times between Facebook and twitter. McSally is a McFaker Many expressing gratitude to Dobbs for exposing McSally. I didn't need her exposed, I already knew from her horrific voting record up until last year when I'm sure the establishment was getting her ready to run "Pro-Trump" that she would be another Flake or McCain. I hope we are all paying attention like Lou Dobbs said at the end. I know I am! As always- Thank you for your service to the GOP everyday Frosty! Reading the Briefs is part of my daily routine Link to my video: McSally is a McFaker
Timothy Schwartz: Last night at the Maricopa EGC meeting members spoke of the urgency of taking on the Democrats who are very well organized and extremely motivated. Yesterday I made a trip down to the Elections Department to pick up Voter Registration Forms. As I was driving, I was wondering if they would give me more than one packet (100) as Republican Helen Purcell's policy would limit each person to one packet. Would it be any different with Democrat Adrian Fontes? When I arrived at the counter I asked how many I could get? I was proudly told that since Democrat Fontes was Recorder there was no limit! I decided to get 200. As I looked at the log in sheet I saw individuals taking 1,100 and 1,200. I increased my take to 300 and left. I then came back because I wanted another look at the log book. I asked for another 200. As I looked closer at the log book I saw that the page I was looking at started on March 15. THOUSANDS of Voter Registration forms had been taken in UNDER THREE WEEKS! Wonder what the counts were on the previous log page in March? Was it thousands as well?I also looked at the names of the organizations getting the forms, clearly hostile groups to our democracy.
In the past week I've been approached while pumping gas (43rd /Northern) by a man with clipboard wanting to register me to vote. Later the same day I witnessed people in the Walmart parking lot carrying clipboards registering people to vote, and they weren't Republicans! I've registered lots of people in the decades I've been A PC, but I've never registered anybody in a Walmart parking lot or at a gas station. Concerned yet? I am.
As the leaders of the party, are we gonna rise and meet the challenge? Are we gonna just phone bank this time around, or, are we gonna get busy registering as many new voters as we can? Question: If Paul Revere were to mount on his horse today and ride through the streets warning of impending danger, would people rise and ready themselves, or would they complain about the disturbance and go back to sleep? Do you think it might be time to sound the alarm? Paul is needed...Where is Paul Revere?

US Senate candidate Joe Arpaio: Rumors are flying around Arizona that I'm going to drop out of the race. I want you to hear this from me loud and clear: I AM NOT GOING TO DROP OUT. I am committed to this campaign just as I am committed to the future of our nation. My campaign scares the left. They know if I'm elected then I will vote alongside President Trump and against their liberal, backwards policies. Friend, this election will be even more expensive than any battle I've ever faced. In order to win this and go up against the Democrats successfully, I've got to have every single one of you with me. If you have ever donated to me before, I need your donation again today. Every dollar donated will go towards ensuring I have a strong, winning campaign ready to fight back against the rumors and lies facing our campaign. I have won elections before because of YOUR support. I cannot do this again without you. Your immediate donation will send the Democrats a strong message about the strength we have. Please join me in fighting back today. - Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Conservative for U.S. Senate - "America's Toughest Sheriff"

ELECTED OFFICIALS COMMENTARY
Congressman Biggs’ on President Trump’s Efforts to Secure the Border Last evening, President Donald Trump authorized National Guard troops to secure the U.S.-Mexico border. Congressman Biggs said: “I support President Trump’s decision to deploy National Guard troops to the border. I continue to fight to fund, begin, and complete a border wall, just as President Trump promised when America elected him. His commitment to building the wall and ending illegal immigration helped him capture the Republican nomination and the Presidency. I appreciate President Trump’s efforts to keep his promises. Congress has been derelict in its duty to secure the border. While many legislators have paid lip service to voters about border security, few have actually followed through on these promises. Congress must act, and I implore my colleagues to fund the wall and all else required to secure our border. This should be a top priority for Congress, and I will not give up the fight to preserve our nation by securing our border.”
Congresswoman Martha McSally: Just three months after President Trump signed our landmark tax cuts into law, we are seeing the results around the nation and across Arizona. Four million workers have received more than $4 billion in bonuses, businesses have record confidence in our economy, and the number of people filing for unemployment dropped to the lowest in nearly five decades. Read on to see how Arizonans are seeing the changes in their businesses, their benefits plans, and their paychecks. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is making our economy stronger, and that’s helping women across America. By slashing tax rates, increasing the standard deduction, doubling the child tax credit and simplifying the tax code, our tax plan is benefitting women, from the hourly employee to the entrepreneur; whether single or married with children. Click HERE to read my article in the Arizona Daily Star outlining how women are uniquely benefitting under our tax cuts!
