Lori Klein Corbin Suspends Campaign For Secretary of State: As a conservative former state senator and as the current Republican National Committeewoman representing the state of Arizona, my commitment to the issues affecting Arizonans has never wavered. Personal issues have arisen that make it impossible for me to continue the campaign.I was in this important race because there are few concerns that face Arizona voters more vital than the integrity of their ballot and the election process. Additionally, we should not lose sight of the fact that the Secretary of State is next in line to ascend to the office of governor if the governor is unable to perform his or her duties.I sincerely thank all of you who have worked on my campaign for Secretary of State, donating time, support, and tireless effort on my behalf. Your friendship is invaluable.I am honored to continue to serve Arizona as your Republican National Committeewoman and will remain in this position to support Arizona, our President Donald J. Trump and the Republican National Committee.

The Arizona Corporation Commission has submitted to the docket the finalized version of the Commission’s Code of Ethics, incorporating the amendments that were proposed and adopted during the Commission’s most recent Open Meeting on March 13, 2018. The finalized Code of Ethics was signed by all five Commissioners and will now be the governing document for ethical behavior at the Commission. As Chairman of the Ethics Committee, Commissioner Boyd Dunn led three workshops to receive input from Commissioners and stakeholders on the proposed draft. “We have drafted and adopted a Code of Ethics that will stand as one of, if not the, most comprehensive in the nation,” according to Dunn. See finalized Code of Ethics at http://edocket.azcc.gov, search for docket number AU-00000E-17-0079. The Commission is in the process of developing a web page that will house the Code of Ethics and its disclosure requirements, that page can be found at azcc.gov/ethics.
Fight-Back-Against-The-Lefts-Bullying-Tactics The left is at it again, using bullying tactics to silence their opposition. This time they are attacking Laura Ingraham’s sponsors for her show on Fox News, The Ingraham Angle. Media Matters created a list of advertisers and several left-wing activists are urging their followers to tweet them and pressure them to stop advertising on Ingraham’s show. This is a petty and disgraceful thing for the left to do, but we cannot remain silent.

Elaine Gangluff: I'm relieved to learn that others see Martha McSally as another John McCain. I wish
Kelli Ward would publicize Martha McSally's voting record that she points out at her rally’s. People need to know she is no conservative by a long shot. We've heard enough that Ward is not a strong candidate and cannot win against the Democrat. Of course she won't win if we promote McSally! We don't need another RINO representing Arizona.
Steven Slaton - Chairman Navajo County Republican Committee, Responds to
Jim Vance and Jill Skaufelf, Judge-Dismisses-Slaton’s-Lawsuit-Against-NCRC in 4-4-18 Briefs: The plaintiffs in this case are asking for the court to RULE ON “The Rule of law” and was no grievance of monies involved or asked for by the Plaintiffs. All documentation was file in the case. It was the defendant’s choice not to excising their option of “Pro Se” not to represent themselves and take it upon themselves to hire the Holland group, in this matter. The Plaintiffs are not responsible to pay the Holland group anything. The court never gave us a reason for the dismissal. Furthermore, the office of the clerk after many phone calls and personal appearance to the clerk’s office continued to not give the plaintiffs the Judges name till the day after of the dismissal. They just kept telling Mr. Slaton no Judge was assigned. Which come to find out this Judge Pro-Tempore Martin was assigned to the case back in February.
The Plaintiffs did not agree to have a PRO-TEMP Judge to hear this case. It is our right to have a elected judge to hear the case! A temporary judge, a judge pro temp is not a regular judge, but someone (usually a lawyer) who is brought in to serve temporarily as a judge with the consent of the parties. We never consented to a Pro-Temp Judge. There was No Grounds Included In The Motion To Dismiss! We demand our case to be heard by an elected sitting Judge! Plaintiffs refilled motion for and elected judge to hear this very important case on April 6th in Superior Court Of Arizona. Plaintiffs will file a complaint with Arizona State Attorney General on this case and the due process the Plaintiffs did not received in this matter. The Plaintiffs also will file a complaint against Pro-Tempe Judge Martin for failure to notify the plaintiffs of due process into the plaintiff’s right for consent, which plaintiffs never gave consent for him to view this case.
American Post-Gazette: “The Media Hates The County Treasurer, That Means He’s A Keeper - A few weeks ago, Phoenix Channel 12’s Brahm Resnick interviewed Arizona Republic Reporter Rebecca Sanders, who covers Maricopa County government. The subject of the interview was Maricopa County Treasurer Royce Flora’s annual report to the County Board of Supervisors. Flora reported he expected a large increase in investment earnings for FY 2018. He is projecting earnings of over $60Million – almost three times last FY’s earnings. Resnick, the snarky, conservative-hating, ex-Canadian (See? Immigration is a serious problem in America!), mocked Flora’s projections. Resnick sarcastically called Flora’s Chief Deputy, Russell Pearce, ‘Warren Buffett,’ and suggested that all of us should turn our 401Ks over to the County Treasurer’s Office. Pearce has nothing to do with the investment portfolio – that’s the responsibility of former State Representative Mark Thompson, the Office’s Portfolio Manager. But snarky ex-Canadians can't resist attacking true American patriots. And the county is on target to reach $60Million in earnings this FY. That means more money for the State of Arizona for what, schools, maybe? According to their website the County Treasurer's Office already sits at $40Million in earnings with three expected strong months left to go. Flora gives credit to Thompson’s oversight and the improved economy under the Trump administration. That must really infuriate Resnick.”.
Mark Lewis, CAP Water Board Director: I am happy to report that a bus load of coal miners protested at our CAP Water board meeting yesterday, over the loss of coal mining jobs that would occur if the NGS power plant in Page closes. Tribal-And-Union-Delegation-Calls-On-Central-Arizona-Project-Board-Of-Directors-To-Take-Long-Term-Power-From-The-Navajo-Generating-StationThe liberals on the CAP Water board are promoting solar replacements for 30% of the coal plant, in efforts to go green. But those efforts come at the price of $152 million in payroll from the coal mines and power plants near Page. I helped develop a temp window for the tribal coal miners to keep the plant running, but it requires the tribal leaders to kick things into high gear with the renewal of the coal plant leases in 3 weeks. Hopi and Navajo leaders are meeting Tuesday to see if they can keep a deal together. The ball is in their court to save this plant. Obama's war on coal has remaining casualties, because of the $19 billion in solar subsidies put in place by Obama back in the dark days of liberalism.
Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL), Legislative Update: Good news! Thanks to all those contacting their Senators, HB 2211 passed out of the Senate on Thursday, April 5. HB 2211 would add a personal exemption for firearms to the state's bankruptcy statutes. It was then sent back to the House where it will soon be sent to the Governor.
Better news! The over 34,000 emails you sent to your Legislators about Governor Ducey's"Safer Arizona Schools" proposed firearms confiscation legislation had a major impact. The Governor's office invited AzCDL's President, Dave Kopp, and several legislators to discuss our concerns on April 4. The meeting lasted over 3 hours. Our major concern about the initial draft of the legislation is that it focuses more on firearm confiscations than in identifying truly dangerous individuals. There are many Republicans who share our concerns and will also be pushing for changes during the review process. By all accounts the meeting was productive with the Governor's people committing to make significant changes. They also indicated that they are not opposed to public hearings. We are cautiously optimistic for a positive outcome. It will probably be next week before an updated version of the legislation is released. That's when we'll see if the Governor is paying attention to his base. The Democrats meanwhile have expressed a dislike for the Governor's proposal because it doesn't go far enough. Everyone must be disarmed and the sooner the better. However, they also believe that any restrictions on our rights are better than no restrictions. If they see Republican support for the Governor's scheme waning, they will likely get behind it to ensure its passage. Because of the activism of several thousand AzCDL supporters, what started as a gun confiscation proposal now has a strong possibility to become a true "school safety" bill. We can't let up. If you have not yet sent your email, there is still time to let your Senator and Representatives know that you expect the rules to be followed. It only takes a few mouse clicks to make a big difference.

U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Kelli Ward: America's first line of defense is our borders, which we already know drugs and criminals easily cross every day. Our borders should be equipped to keep our families safe and protect our rights as citizens, especially considering that is the number one responsibility of government. Arizona shares nearly 370 miles of border with Mexico. It is estimated that 11 million illegal immigrants live in the United States, many of whom entered through our southern border and through Arizona.President Trump wants to build a wall; and so do I. This wall would be a huge step toward protecting our borders and keeping America safe. This is why he needs allies in the Senate to help him push his agenda over the finish line. As your representative, I will work tirelessly to ensure the America First agenda is put into action. I can't make it to Washington, D.C. without your help. chip in Any amount will help put a strong conservative like me in office who will work to protect YOUR best interests. I've listened to what Arizonans really want and stand prepared to help deliver on those wishes.Illegal immigration affects every aspect of our society, including education, healthcare, public safety, and so much more. National security begins with border security and, together, President Trump and I will work hand-in-hand to make sure we deliver on his campaign promise to build an impenetrable border wall. We are less than a year out from election day. You want a trailblazer in the Senate, a woman like me who will fight alongside President Trump to stop illegal immigration, secure America's borders, and Make America SAFE Again.
Supt of Public Instruction candidate Frank Riggs: Arizona K-12 education is at a critical juncture. Teacher pay, #RedforEd, school security and student safety, and the overall performance of our education system have dominated the headlines over the past month. Unfortunately, what we haven't heard are any real solutions or concrete plans to address these issues head on. What's missing is bold leadership. No other candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction has my experience and qualifications. I'm the only candidate who has released a detailed plan to fix our schools and improve student performance. Arizona needs a Superintendent of Public Instruction who will lead from the front, create transparency within the Department of Education, and put education first – not frivolous lawsuits, cover-ups and personal agendas. Arizona education demands real leadership. As an Army Veteran, police officer, school board president and U.S. Congressman (CA), I've demonstrated the integrity, courage and leadership necessary to fix our education system and get us back on track. I've led on important education issues at the local, state and federal level, and I want to put my proven track record to work for the great state of Arizona. To learn more about my record and my plans for reforming and improving Arizona K-12 education, and how I'll lead from the front as the next Superintendent of Public Instruction, please visit my website at www.riggsforaz.com.
