LD23 PC Gina Swoboda: An update from the County Recorder's office. It appears that in order to register voters going forward, citizens will need to do two things: attend an MCRO Orientation Session, and attend an additional training session to become a certified Deputy Registrar with the county. For those attending the June 21st Orientation, there is a Deputy Registrar Certification session scheduled on July 1st at the Via Linda Senior Center in Scottsdale. The link to register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/deputy-registrar-training-tickets-35306721354
PC-LD25 Karen Gevaert: A Coup d'e-tat by the deep state is their end-goal. We cannot be defeated by these 'Criminals.' The 'fake' news media should be held responsible, along with their sycophants, who on a daily basis spill their hate for President Donald Trump and conservatives. The apparent assassination by a liberal terrorist is the end result of 'Hate.' If we had a Republican party that even cared for liberty and truth have failed we the people, and unfortunately, some have been in-step with the Demon-crats
Activist James Alberts: Time to recall McCain.
National Federation of Republican Women have deployed to South Carolina this weekend to rally voters in advance of the 5th congressional district special election on June 20, and they are taking Rosie, the NFRW nationally-renowned campaign RV. NFRW Strike Force volunteers will participate in get out the vote activities such as phone banks and door knocking, as well as several rallies featuring Rosie. "We invite any Republican woman who wants to help, come to South Carolina and join our ranks," NFRW President Carrie Almond said. "Electing Republicans continues to be our number one priority, and we are committed to helping our candidates cross the finish line with a win." Republican women who are interested in joining the Strike Force should contact political@nfrw.org for more details.
Stephen Sivigliano: Just 2 days after the shooting, the liberals are already piling-on, laying all blame for the lunatic shooter on republicans and conservative pundits, like Rush or Laura. Their insanity is beyond belief. Rush called them "deranged," appropriately so. Now, back to yesterday's "non-political" charity benefit ball game; before they were invited to "play ball," a bunch of traumatized, bi-partisan congressional players huddled together on bended knees, and Prayed----in public, no less! Yet, a high school football (or other sport) team is forbidden to pray together either before or after a game. Students are not allowed to have religious or spiritual extracurricular activities, on or off campus. Am I missing something here? Is my mind too simple to separate one issue from another?
PC-LD25 Karen Gevaert: Just a 'Big thank you" for keeping us up on our GOP here in Az. My concern is the Big GOP in D.C. I'm having too many sleepless nights due to the everyday 'Hate" from there.
LD24 PC Tristan Manos Sharing Some Observations of Thursday night's LD24 monthly meeting featuring speaker (and LD24 PC) Barry Goldwater Jr. (former ASU College Republicans Chairman, Republican member of the U.S. House, and son of former U.S. Senator and 1964 Republican Presidential nominee Barry Goldwater): "Thank You" to Barry for an all-around good and interesting presentation, going over some of the remarkable -- and impressive -- history of the Goldwater family, past and present. Grateful to you for sharing stories of your experiences from your perspective, especially about your father being a strong believer in God and Americans' God-given freedoms, and how you believe it's what made your father so strong in his spirit. In Q&A afterward, LD24 Chairman Barry Wong brought up an interesting and intriguing hypothetical: Abraham Lincoln, Republican Party 1.0; Barry Goldwater, Republican Party 2.0; Ronald Reagan, Republican Party 3.0; and Donald Trump, Republican Party 4.0, asking for Barry Goldwater Jr.'s take on the idea. Shrugging a bit, Barry Goldwater Jr. said he wonders about that, and even wonders how Donald Trump sees Donald Trump, adding that Trump is a 1-of-a-kind phenomenon, never before really seen as a major or mainstream politician, let alone conservative or Republican. He added that, although Trump's made some good and important appointments, things are up in the air as to how his Presidency will play out, and that we've "survived" all kinds of Presidents before, and we should, again. Here and there, Barry added one humorous line after another, maybe some in the audience less familiar wondering what was for real, for fun, or between the lines. Abraham Lincoln through Donald Trump makes 19 Republican Presidents, all making their mark, some more so than others. George Washington is the only President to serve "We The People" without representing a political party."
Tristan Manos on Barry Goldwater Jr.'s impressions of President Donald Trump:"As I saw it (and more than I saw it), Barry's take, more like a pass, on seeing President Donald Trump as Republican Party 4.0 was a bit shocking (0 surprise). I followed up, adding some important perspective, reminding Barry and the group how Donald Trump promoted and still promotes what it takes (what it means) to "Make America Great Again": America 1st, The American Way 1st, and The American Dream for Americans 1st. There may be something about how some people never (or rarely) come out and say some things because they never really (or barely) believe in those things. It's been going on all around, for so long, and in plain sight, and Barry never brought it up in those words last night, even though Donald Trump's been bringing it up in those words, over and over again. As a consolation, Barry said Donald Trump won because he got through to the American people who felt like they lost their freedoms to invasive and abusive government (even using the "America 1st" expression back on 6/21/16). It's a remarkable coincidence how the two former Republican Presidential Candidates who lost, as in John McCain and Mitt Romney (both losing to the same unconstitutional candidate), and some some close to those who lost, as in Barry Goldwater's son, Barry Jr., may hold a particularly reflexive -- partially dismissive -- impression of Donald Trump, the man who, the 1st time he ran for anything, ran for President, as a Republican, and won, showing America, and Republicans, what it takes to win, and how to win. Is that American, or what? Is it "Republican" enough? Then again, in recent history, before Donald Trump, was the Republican Party "America 1st" enough?" Contact: tristanmanos2@gmail.com
Tom Morrow: Here’s an old suggestion that certainly could be considered again: Put term limits on U.S. Congress – Oh, wait, California has that already and look at the fiscal shape we’re in…Our state is living proof that Gold will tarnish. For those of us who moved here 30 or 40 years ago, we couldn’t afford to do it today – the cost of living is ridiculous and far out-paces the average wage. Editor’s Note: Morrow is the former Valley News editor.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AGFD), the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) will partner on an aerial survey of wild burros in and near the Lake Pleasant Herd Management Area beginning June 19. Residents and recreationists in the North Valley area may see or hear a small, low-flying aircraft near Lake Pleasant and in areas east of I-17 between Anthem and Black Canyon City, south of Carefree Highway and the Loop 303 freeway; and west to areas near Morristown and Wickenburg. The aerial survey may take up to six days, during which the agencies will work to record the number and location of burros observed along pre-designated flight paths. Related to this survey, the AGFD is also embarking on a three-year study to evaluate the effects of burros on Arizona’s wildlife and their habitat. Information gained will further help inform the BLM’s management of wild burros in herd management areas. “The main goal of these efforts is to ensure healthy ecosystems along with a safe environment for the public, employees, and public land users. Limiting the number of animal encounters with people and motor vehicles through better management of wild burro populations in our state can help achieve this goal,” said BLM Phoenix District Manager Leon Thomas. The survey is part of ongoing research studies to collect information to guide future management of wild burros in Arizona. These studies are part of vital partnership efforts between the BLM and state agencies to address the issue of overpopulation of wild burros in the state.

Here's where the cuts should be made! Congressional Reform Act of 2017
1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman / woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.
2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past/present Congressmen/women are void effective 7-1-17.
The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work. TRUMP, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes about the debt ceiling: "I could end the deficit in five minutes," he told CNBC. "You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election". The 26th Amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds ) took only three months and eight days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971 - before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took one (1) year or less to become the law of the land - all because of public pressure. If each person contacts a minimum of 20 people, then it will only take three days for most people in the U.S. to receive the message. It's time! Please forward if you favor these changes.

Congressman Paul Gosar Just-The-Facts-Obamacare-Is-Generational-Theft
US Sen John McCain, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, on the Air Force’s ongoing investigation into recent oxygen system failures on F-35A aircraft at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, which remain temporarily grounded. McCain also commented on a new report released by the Navy revealing an uptick in similar oxygen system failures on F/A-18 and T-45 aircraft: “I am deeply concerned by the recent increase in oxygen system failures in the cockpits of F-35A Joint Strike Fighters, which the Air Force continues to investigate at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. These hypoxia-related physiological events raise questions about the safety of our pilots. With the Navy also reporting this week similar upticks in oxygen-related incidents on F/A-18 and T-45 aircraft, it is important to consider the safety of all of our flight programs and ensure the well-being of our aviators. I am encouraged that Air Force and Navy leadership are taking these events seriously and are committed to investigating the root cause. I look forward to reviewing the results of the investigations into these incidents, as well as recommendations for remedial measures. The Senate Armed Services Committee will continue to exercise vigorous oversight of this issue and, if warranted, address it in the National Defense Authorization Act.”
Sen John McCain:“The Russia sanctions amendment passed this body by a vote of 97-2 yesterday. It was carefully negotiated between senators of both parties on multiple committees including Foreign Relations, Banking, and Armed Services. It was specifically designed to impose tough sanctions on the Russian military industrial complex and intelligence agencies that have made it possible for Russia to invade Ukraine, annex Crimea, terrorize Syria, threaten our NATO allies, and attack America’s election in 2016. Have no doubt about what this amendment is. It is a giveaway to the Russian military industrial complex. This amendment would only serve to weaken those sanctions. [I]f we allow this amendment to pass… the door will once again fly open for taxpayer dollars to be used to subsidize purchases of Russian rocket engines, purchases which line the pockets of Vladimir Putin’s cronies.” –Speaking on Senate Floor

Senator Sylvia Tenney Allen: CUBA - President Trump just gave a knock down, terrific talk about our relationship with Cuba. He said he is undoing the Obama agreement that only sent money to the Cuban military machine and did nothing for the Cuban people or the American people. He is rewriting the deal. Sanctions will remain in place until political prisoner are released. He wants the Cuban people to have free elections, own private property and businesses, freedom of expression and movement. He said that they will not hide criminals/fugitives from America. If Cuban leaders want help from America then they need to give basic human rights to their citizens. The agreement with Cuba must be based upon Free Trade that benefits the Cuban people not the Castro Régime. His talk was inspiring and full of the freedom themes of the "American Birthright" of all citizens. It was such a contrast to the kind of talks that President Obama ever gave. President Trump is truly a person who knows and understands the American founding principles and what freedom means to us and the world. He told a touching story of a young Cuban man who stood up to the Castro Regime and during a violin concert played the Star Spangled Banner. President Trump said that America is a beacon of hope to the entire world. Then this young man who is now a grown man and an international violinist came on stage and played the Star Spangled Banner. It was touching and moving. President Trump is calling all of us to come together and restore America. We need everyone, Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Libertarian, and Independent. It begins with me and it begins with you. "When Freedom dies in the hearts of the people, no Constitution, no president, no elected official can save it."

US Senate candidate Kelli Ward yesterday urged President Trump to overturn the Obama-Flake “policy of appeasement” toward Cuba before the country becomes “another Venezuela.” “Most Republicans in Congress support the embargo but there is one prominent standout: Senator Jeff Flake of Arizona who has emerged as the Castro Gang’s number one defender in Congress,” Ward said. Ward, a Lake Havasu City physician challenging Flake for reelection noted that “the Cuban regime has publically displayed acts that violate natural human and political rights including intense policies against women including forced abortions. The 1992 Cuban Democracy Act and the Helms-Burton Cuban Liberty and Democratic Solidarity Act of 1996 brought forth conditions that Cuba must meet in order for the embargo to be lifted including commitment to free and fair elections, freedom of press, legalization of all political activity, and respect for internationally recognized human rights”, Ward said. “And that hasn’t happened. The Obama Administration enacted policies that loosening the Cuba embargo with Senator Jeff Flake’s enthusiastic support,” Ward noted, “sending the message that the United States is not only ready to recognizing the Socialist-Communist regime, but that we are also open to negotiating with the dictatorial heads of state, undercutting traditional values held by the Cuban people as well as by the people of the United States.” Ward is an osteopathic physician who was elected twice to the Arizona Senate and held John McCain to 51 percent of the vote in the 2016 U.S. Senate primary. Public polling shows her in a dead heat with Senator Flake in the 2018 primary matchup. Her website is www.kelliward.com
